Mash Media, the  information hub for the events industry, is doubling down on making business relationships happen at its events by signing a three year deal with Grip, the AI-powered event platform built for business relationships and revenue.

The Kingston-based organizer will use the Grip platform to power all its events, including: International Confex, CN Agency Leaders Summit, EN Indy Expo and Awards, The PA Show, CN Global Event Tech Summit, EN Marketing Summit, EN Sales Leaders Summit, The Event Production Show and CN Community Summit.

The organizer’s objectives are to leverage Grip’s platform to boost revenue and business relationships at its shows. All of these leading events will use Grip’s technology, like its award-winning mobile event app and AI-powered networking functionality, to establish, maintain and track relationships between participants over multiple events.

Samy Shafeeq, Head of CRM & Digital at Mash Media, said:

“Mash Media provides forums for event professionals to develop, share, learn and sell through our brands. Selecting Grip was vital to helping us achieve these goals. We needed a technology partner which can help organizers make and maintain valuable business relationships at our events.
“The combination of a slick mobile event app, unparalleled meeting functionality and hassle-free integrations, meant Grip was our number one event technology choice.”

Tim Groot, CEO and Founder of Grip, adds:

“We’re proud of the outcomes we’ve helped Mash Media deliver on International Confex, Global Event Tech Summit and their other events. The forward thinking team is rapidly expanding their offering for event professionals. We couldn’t be happier working with them for an extended period of time, as part of this partnership.
“We look forward to working on many new features and functionality in the coming years, as part of the partnership. This includes our new advanced insights module that helps organizers anticipate exhibitor churn and identify audience gaps for future event growth.”

Grip’s platform will be used by Mash Media to:

• Increase revenue by selling more meeting packages and sponsorship opportunities

• Connect the right participants at the right time with AI-powered matchmaking and meetings

• Maximize event engagement with Grip’s intuitive, white label mobile event app

• Sync with participants’ calendars so they never miss a meeting or session

• Integrate with its existing event tech stack, like its existing registration system, using Grip’s Native Integrations Wizard

• Host pre-scheduled meetings efficiently, like at the Global Event Tech Summit in November, using Grip’s automated meeting scheduler, MustMeet

Furthermore, Grip’s AI-powered recommendations will help participants discover new people to meet and sessions to attend. The app will also enable them to navigate the shows using Grip’s intuitive floor plans via its mobile event app.
