Today at Event Tech Live London, Grip, the AI-powered event platform built for business relationships, unveiled its new "Native Integrations Wizard" feature. It saves organizers up to 70% in time needed to upload registration data by dramatically streamline the process of integrating attendee data from popular registration providers such as Cvent, Visit by GES, ASP, Hubspot, Experient (Maritz Global Events) and Swoogo.

A leap forward for registration integration

Up until now, Grip’s in-house solutions team used middleware software to create hundreds of integrations at scale. This required a high level of coordination among customers and Grip’s in-house teams. Grip’s Native Integrations changes the game. It introduces a user-friendly dashboard tool that significantly reduces the time - and therefore costs - associated with setting up essential registration data integrations.

How it works

There are six simple steps needed to setup a native integration:

  1. Select the relevant integration inside the Grip dashboard (e.g. click ‘connect’ on the Swoogo integration)
  2. Input the integration API key
  3. Select the event from the dropdown menu
  4. Select the relevant data types (e.g. registration data) from that event to be imported into Grip
  5. Select where the data types should be imported to, inside Grip (i.e. the Grip data types)
  6. Select the specific dates and filters you want to ensure the right data is imported

With the Native Integrations feature, event organizers will see:

  • A drastic reduction in the complexity of uploading registration data, saving up to 70% in time
  • An easy-to-use intuitive dashboard making it simple to map fields, such as job titles and relevant fields within Grip's platform
  • A deeper integration with Cvent, Visit and Swoogo for a smoother and more efficient event management experience
  • Additional features: See data and how it’s being mapped to give confidence in the workflows, the ability to change the frequency of data imports, and roll back any errors, to give further control

An example includes using a dedicated registration platform for registrations, then integrating with other dedicated platforms for different elements of their events (e.g. networking).
